Our faith in Jesus and our love of family is what guides our decisions, both personal and business. We are a family owned business and family is our priority. (I took a hiatus from markets and shows, but not from selling entirely, after the birth of our 3rd child) We are a small (very small) business in a small (very small) town, operating out of our home. Besides being a business owner, I am a wife and home schooling mom of three. The children are 8 1/2, 5 1/2, and 15 months old. When I'm not in the kitchen experimenting with recipes you can find me trying to keep up the children, the dog, or the chickens.
My husband and 3 kids help out where they are able. The older kids help with packaging and labeling items and cutting soap. My husband often delivers orders, dispenses advice, and does the heavy lifting. Everyone pitches in when we go to a craft show or a farmers market. We don't engage in animal testing, but I frequently enlist my mom, mother in law, and sisters in law to try out new products.
